IDEAL STAR TAILOR / LADIES STITCHING

From enquiry
to stitching.

Prepare the information we need to discuss your outfit or bulk requirement.

Ladies tailoring at Ideal Star Tailor

1. Put your design reference in order

Send a clear reference image and describe the parts you want to reproduce. A front view may not explain the back neckline, closure or sleeve construction. Add other views where available, or explain what you want in writing. Mark any features that should be different from the reference.

A design seen on a phone is a starting point for a discussion. Different fabrics can drape differently, and supplied embroidery may limit cutting placement. Confirm feasibility with the tailor before treating an image as the final specification.

2. Describe the fabric and supplied materials

Customers provide fabric for stitching. Send the fabric type if known, its width and available length, and clear photographs of any borders or embroidered panels. Mention transparency, stretch, directional prints or visible defects. Do not guess an exact fabric requirement from a photo: ask the team to review the design and size first.

List lining, lace, buttons and other materials you plan to provide. Keep different outfits together in separate labelled bundles. Before dispatch, photograph each bundle and its contents so both sides can refer to the same material list.

3. Confirm measurements and fit

State whether your figures are body measurements or flat garment measurements. Include the unit, desired lengths and fit preference. For several people or sizes, use a separate labelled list for each outfit. Read our measurement preparation guide before sending your list.

If using a reference garment, explain whether it should be copied exactly or adjusted. Request confirmation for unclear figures before cutting starts.

4. Agree the scope, quotation and schedule

Share your city or country, number of suits and requested completion date. The quotation should be based on the agreed construction and details. Confirm the stitching price, what materials are included, payment arrangements and delivery responsibilities directly with the team.

Orders outside Islamabad and Rawalpindi within Pakistan start from 8 suits; international bulk enquiries start from 10 suits. Discuss dispatch costs and any destination requirements before sending fabric. Availability and the completion schedule must be confirmed for your order.

5. Prepare bulk specifications

For a boutique or brand batch, provide quantities for each size, the size chart and garment specifications. An approved sample is a practical reference for the construction, decoration placement and finish. Record agreed changes before the batch begins, and distinguish sample measurements from body measurements.

Keep style names and size labels consistent across the material list and order sheet. Discuss checks, packaging and dispatch arrangements with the team. Do not assume a website enquiry reserves production capacity.

6. Keep the agreed details together

Save the agreed design, measurements, material list, quotation and schedule in one place. Send any change as a clearly labelled update and wait for confirmation. A change after cutting may not be possible with the remaining fabric.
